american sports games

here you can talk about the american sports games, like NHL,NBL and NFL

i never really understood why they come out with a new one of these every year. whenever i go through used games at the store they're flooded wth past NHL games. just seems like a waste of money to me since each year it's essentially the same game aside from maybe some team player switches.

they also add new features etc. but now NHL08 is only on xbox360 and ps3, and i cant buy it.

those player switches mean something to fans. Fifa games are the only one i buy every year. Though NBA 08 is on my list of things to get.

didnt think they would stop production on ps2 so quickly

it pisses me off when they do that. some games yeh they will carry on making for ps2 for a bit. but they bring out new games with better graphics that only new new software can cope with

ah well thats the problem with next gen- dont get left behind
