Just bought C.O.D 4

I bought call of duty four today...Havent played it yet but it looks like a great game!!..Anyone played it ?

nope but i am interested to see how the C.O.D team cope making a game that isnt set in WW2

No it's a bit shorter but when you put it up to veteran then it's longer.

Well i beat the others on veteran.. :p...But i'm so out of practice on FPS at the moment it's untrue!!.....BTW still aint played it!!

I don't know..I went a whole month before playing Halo 3 or assassins creed!!...Still havent completed either!!....I just seem to have a week on the 360 then a week on the PSP then a week on the PS2..then a week on my emulators.......Cant seem to stick at one thing for any amount of time!!...lol

COD 4 is incredible (not so much the single player campaign which is fun and great but nothing revolutionary) but the multiplayer is freaking brilliant. The XP system and leveling up is great and unlike halo where if you get 49 kills for your team but your team ends up loosing 50-49 and you get nothing, with COD4 you get xp for every kill and for doing extra challenges EX: getting 75 kills with a certain weapon, blowing up x amount of cars etc.. and as you level up you don't just get a new meaningless rank you unlock new weapons and perks such as the ability to pull out a pistol when you die to fire off a few last shots or to drop a live grenade when you die, or start with more grenades or claymores and my two faves, the ability to listen to what the other team is saying over headsets or the ability to prevent the other team from talking.

Finally got around to playing it today...,,Just finished it. I loved the sniper mission. The game was a bit short tho...maybe it's time to play it on veteran.....I doubt i'll have the time to play online tho...cuz with these types of games you have to put in the practice or you get hammered all the time.

Well i started at about 6pm..and finished it by 11.30 pm...But i only played it on the regular setting..Some missions were still hard tho.....Gotta play on veteran next time .

The game is short and only takes a couple of hours to beat. But as you said the mission when you go back to a young Captain Price is totally cool. Thats why games are changing thought, the offline play isn't as important as COD4 online will keep you hooked for ages, im on 4th prestige
