| Mine was the Atari ST520E.... What a great system that was...and it had a very prolific underground hacking scene....Groups such as the Pompey Pirates, Automation and the Medway boys brought us mere mortals some great game and software compilations. All cracked from original disks.
I still play the Atari STE to this day...Emulated on PC using the STeem engine emulator (Google it!!)....Although it takes a backseat to my newer consoles and computers....But I'll always love the Atari for introducing me to the world of gaming and computing.
So what was your first Console/computer?

| for me it was the NES simple but brilliant. then the SNES even better. both machines produced arguably the greatest games of all time | |

| My first console was the Atari 2600 and then we got the Commodore 64. Eventually my brother got the NES but there's still a very special place in my heart for that damn Atari and all the aggrivation it brought with it. Trying to get through games like Jungle Hunt, Kangaroo, and E.T. yes i had that horrible game... haha. | |

| The ET cartridges were sent to a ditch and buried but it's not somewhere in the middle of the desert. it was done at some sort of construction site where they were building a new complex or something. So there's no way to get to them now and Atari representatives have stated that this is in fact true. But the game is still really easily available to buy in alot of used game stores and online. but trust me, that game is terrible. i could never beat it though my cousin did once when he was visiting. | |

| The point of the game was to collect these pieces and once you had them all gathered you could "phone home"
The problem was that yeah there were these holes everywhere and half the time you weren't walking anywhere near them but you'd fall down them anyway. it was really aggrivating.

| My first system was the Atari 2600. My brother also got the Commodore 64 so we had our first console and PC gaming around the same time. My brother didnt' get the NES until about 1989 or so which was alot later then all the other kids we hung out with, heheh. We got alot of use out of that Atari. | |
